About This Episode

Episode 29 goes straight down the rabbit hole.

No warm-up.

No traditional Check In.

If the government is finally admitting some of this stuff exists, what are they still not telling us?

The guys start with the latest UFO/UAP discussion and congressional claims surrounding unexplained technology before asking whether the recent wave of disclosure actually reveals anything new—or simply confirms things people have been talking about for decades.

Then we finally get to the Fringe Files topic that Episode 28 didn't have time for:

Ancient underground cities.

We're talking entire civilizations carved beneath the earth, structures capable of sheltering thousands of people, tunnels stretching for miles, hidden chambers beneath famous ancient sites, and the possibility that some of these places may be far older than conventional explanations suggest.

Then, because this is Wolves & Wisemen, things eventually derail into AI, underground bases, aliens, OnlyFans, old cars, Shane Gillis, Sacked, Folks on Fire, Boners, history, and enough side conversations to completely destroy any chance of staying on schedule.

Welcome to Episode 29.

Fringe Files: UFO Disclosure

Are We Actually Getting Disclosure?

For decades, UFO sightings were routinely treated as science fiction, conspiracy theory, misidentification, or something people simply weren't supposed to take seriously.

Now the language has changed.

UFO became UAP.

Military footage entered the public conversation.

Members of Congress began publicly discussing classified briefings.

Pilots and military personnel described encounters.

And government agencies began releasing and acknowledging material connected to unexplained objects.

So the question isn't simply:

Are UFOs real?

Episode 29 asks something bigger:

Why are we being told about this now?

The Problem With the "New" UFO Files

One of the guys' biggest complaints is simple:

Where's the new stuff?

If the government possesses decades of reports, military footage, radar information, classified briefings, witness testimony, satellite imagery, and other evidence, why does so much of what reaches the public feel like material people have already seen?

The discussion becomes less about whether strange objects exist and more about the quality of disclosure.

If you're going to disclose it...

Disclose it.

What are these objects?

Who—or what—is controlling them?

Are they American?

Foreign?

Reverse-engineered technology?

Something genuinely non-human?

And what remains classified?

Interdimensional Beings?

The guys discuss public comments attributed to Rep. Anna Paulina Luna concerning evidence she says she encountered in classified briefings and the possibility of phenomena involving technology or beings operating beyond our conventional understanding of space and time.

That immediately opens another rabbit hole.

Maybe the question isn't simply whether something traveled here from another planet.

Maybe we're thinking about the entire phenomenon incorrectly.

What if some unexplained phenomena aren't traveling millions of miles across space?

What if the answer involves dimensions, time, or physics we don't currently understand?

And if government officials genuinely possess evidence pointing in that direction:

How much of it has the public actually seen?

Would Humanity Be Ready?

Then comes one of the most interesting questions of the episode:

What would happen if non-human intelligence were officially confirmed?

Would people panic?

Would religious beliefs collapse?

Would most people shrug and go to work the next morning?

The guys argue that people with a strong foundation in their faith may actually have an easier time processing it.

Discovering another form of intelligence wouldn't necessarily answer the question of God.

It would simply reveal that creation is bigger and stranger than we previously understood.

Of course, the conversation quickly evolves from theology into the more important question:

If aliens are real, do we finally get laser guns?

What's Under the Ocean?

UFOs aren't only reported in the sky.

Episode 29 also gets into reports and claims surrounding objects apparently capable of traveling between air and water.

That creates another mystery:

What is actually beneath the oceans?

The guys discuss submarines, military sonar and sensors, publicly mapped portions of the ocean, classified naval information, unexplained underwater objects, and whether military forces know considerably more about the ocean floor than the public does.

If advanced objects really can move through both atmosphere and ocean...

Where are they going?

Are there unknown facilities beneath the water?

Are they entering naturally occurring structures?

Are they entering something built?

Or are we simply missing a major piece of the puzzle?

Area 51, Roswell & The Cases Everyone Knows

If disclosure is really happening, the guys want answers about the classics too.

Area 51.

Roswell.

Rendlesham Forest.

Unexplained crashes.

Military encounters.

Recovered objects.

Reverse-engineering claims.

The Grand Canyon.

And decades of stories that were previously dismissed.

The argument is simple:

If we're finally opening the files, start answering the questions people have been asking for generations.

What Happened on the Moon?

Naturally, UFO disclosure eventually takes the conversation back to space.

The guys discuss NASA, astronauts, moon missions, missing or limited footage, the Van Allen radiation belts, cameras aboard spacecraft, and why modern missions don't always provide the kind of continuous footage people expect from today's technology.

That leads to another question:

If we're capable of sending humans and spacecraft into space with modern technology, why don't we see more of the journey?

The guys aren't satisfied with computer-generated recreations.

They want cameras.

Lots of cameras.

Show the launch.

Show the spacecraft.

Show Earth getting smaller.

Show the Moon getting larger.

Show what the astronauts actually see.

Ancient Underground Cities

Then Episode 29 finally reaches the Fringe Files topic that got bumped from Episode 28.

And this one gets wild.

Derinkuyu

The centerpiece is the massive underground city beneath Cappadocia in Turkey.

The guys discuss an underground complex extending hundreds of feet beneath the surface and capable of sheltering thousands of people.

The city contained areas for:

Living

Food storage

Livestock

Worship

Water

Ventilation

Defense

And massive stone doors could be used to seal passages.

The obvious question:

Why did ancient people need something this enormous underground?

And perhaps more importantly:

Who originally built it?

How Old Are These Places Really?

The conversation then moves into the problem of dating ancient structures.

If archaeologists find an artifact from a particular period inside an older structure, does that necessarily tell us when the structure itself was built?

Or does it only tell us when somebody used it?

That's an important distinction throughout the discussion.

The guys question whether some underground sites may have existed long before the civilizations most commonly associated with them.

A civilization using something doesn't necessarily mean that civilization built it.

Hundreds of Underground Settlements

Derinkuyu isn't the only one.

The discussion moves into claims of hundreds of underground settlements throughout Cappadocia, some connected by tunnel systems and others still incompletely explored.

That changes the scale of the mystery.

We're no longer talking about a weird cave somebody dug into a hillside.

We're talking about underground infrastructure.

Communities.

Storage.

Ventilation.

Water systems.

Defensive architecture.

And potentially entire networks beneath the surface.

Egypt & Hidden Chambers

Naturally, ancient underground structures lead directly back to Egypt.

The guys discuss shafts, chambers, tunnels, unexplored spaces, and mysteries surrounding the Great Sphinx and the Giza complex.

That leads into one of the recurring questions on Wolves & Wisemen:

Did the civilization we associate with an ancient structure actually build it—or did they inherit something older?

Underground Structures Around the World

The rabbit hole doesn't stop in Turkey or Egypt.

Episode 29 also touches on underground structures and legends connected to:

France — underground refuge systems containing large numbers of rooms.

South America — stories involving tunnels beneath Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and areas around major ancient sites.

Ecuador — legends surrounding cave systems, artificial tunnels, and alleged metallic libraries.

The United States — mines, underground facilities, military installations, tunnels, and the possibility that modern underground infrastructure may incorporate much older structures.

The guys even ask whether some modern underground military facilities could simply be improved versions of locations that were already there.

Did We Build Everything We Say We Built?

From there, the discussion expands into architecture.

World's Fairs.

Government buildings.

Old churches.

Capitol buildings.

Massive stone structures.

Underground levels.

And buildings whose construction stories sometimes seem almost as interesting as the buildings themselves.

The guys question whether modern society occasionally takes credit for structures that were inherited, expanded, modified, or built upon.

It's one of the biggest themes of the episode:

How much history has been lost, rewritten, misunderstood, covered over, or simply forgotten?

Rebel Report

After spending a huge chunk of the episode underground and off-world, the guys eventually return to Earth for the Rebel Report.

The segment moves through current events, viral stories, political discussions, comedy, crime, technology, and whatever else catches their attention.

As usual, serious stories and completely ridiculous commentary coexist within about thirty seconds of each other.

Sacked

Episode 29 brings back Sacked with another collection of clips involving people getting absolutely destroyed.

Football.

Gym accidents.

Bad decisions.

Painful impacts.

And friends who are considerably more interested in filming the disaster than helping the person involved.

Exactly what Sacked was created for.

Folks on Fire

Folks on Fire includes Shane Gillis and clips from the Kevin Hart roast, along with some people earning recognition for impressive—or completely ridiculous—moments.

The segment also brings back a name anyone who survived workout videos in the '90s probably remembers:

Billy Blanks.

At 70 years old, the Tae Bo legend is back online, still throwing kicks and reminding an entire generation that those workouts were considerably harder than they looked.

Boners

The Boner segment covers a little bit of everything.

A disastrous attempt to repair and retime an old Pontiac.

A California local official discussed in connection with allegations involving China.

Another teacher scandal.

Jaime Pressly joining OnlyFans.

And then perhaps the most 2026 story imaginable:

An AI-generated woman reportedly making tens of thousands of dollars from paying subscribers.

She's not real.

The photos are generated.

The voice is generated.

The conversations can be automated.

And people are still paying.

Which sends the guys into an entirely new business idea that probably should never leave the studio.

OnlyDads.

Instead of selling adult content, teach people how to change a tire, tie a tie, mow the lawn, open a beer, fix things around the house, and generally survive adulthood.

Just don't ask Rob to teach the distributor lesson.

Today in History

The guys close things out with another round of Today in History, including:

The American defeat at Charleston during the Revolutionary War

Bob Dylan walking out on The Ed Sullivan Show

The Donner Party beginning its journey west

Jimi Hendrix and Are You Experienced

The Lindbergh baby case

And because it's Episode 29, even the Lindbergh kidnapping manages to become potential conspiracy material.

Key Questions From Episode 29

Are governments actually disclosing UFO information—or simply acknowledging what the public already knows?

If officials possess stronger evidence, why hasn't it been released?

Could some UAP phenomena involve something stranger than extraterrestrial spacecraft?

How would confirmation of non-human intelligence affect faith?

What does the military know about unexplained activity beneath the oceans?

Why were ancient underground cities capable of sheltering thousands of people?

How old are those underground structures really?

Did later civilizations build them—or simply reuse them?

How much ancient infrastructure remains unexplored?

And how much of our accepted history could change if we discovered who actually built some of these places?
