About This Episode

During The Check In, the guys begin with spiritual warfare and what that battle can look like in everyday life. Temptation doesn't always arrive in an obvious form. It can appear through distractions, negativity, social media, cultural pressure, doubt, and the things constantly competing for our attention.

The conversation expands into what it means to openly stand for your Christian faith when doing so isn't always popular. The guys discuss the pressure people can feel to remain quiet about their beliefs, why they believe Christians need to be willing to stand firm, and the importance of remembering that strength and conviction should still be guided by love.

The second Check In turns toward loyalty and what it actually means to be loyal to another person. Is someone really loyal if they're only around when life is going well? Or is loyalty proven during the moments when someone is struggling, making mistakes, or needs somebody willing to tell them the truth?

The guys share personal experiences involving friendship, family, the Marine Corps, brotherhood, and the people who have continued showing up during difficult periods of their lives. Sometimes loyalty means standing beside someone. Other times, it means being willing to tell someone they're wrong and helping them get their head back on straight.

Then the conversation heads into classic Wolves & Wisemen territory as the guys move through current events, Folks on Fire, Boners, humor, and the strange stories that make their way into The Fringe Files.

This time, the rabbit hole leads toward Area 51, mysterious aircraft, UFOs, secret military programs, advanced technology, underground facilities, and the question of just how far ahead classified technology might be compared with what the public knows about.

Episode 3 brings together both sides of Wolves & Wisemen Reignited: serious conversations about God, faith, loyalty, and brotherhood alongside current events, humor, conspiracy theories, and questions about the things we can't always explain.

Scripture From This Episode

Matthew 4:1

The spiritual warfare discussion begins with Jesus being led into the wilderness and tempted by the devil, opening the conversation about temptation and the spiritual battles people can encounter in their own lives.

Ephesians 6:12

The guys discuss the idea that some struggles go beyond the people or circumstances directly in front of us and can involve a deeper spiritual battle.

“We are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world...”

1 Corinthians 16:13–14

This passage becomes the foundation for the conversation about loyalty, strength, faith, and what it means to stand firm while continuing to act in love.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”

Proverbs 18:24

The guys use this passage to discuss friendship, brotherhood, and the rare people who remain beside you when life becomes difficult.

“A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Key Takeaways

Spiritual warfare isn't always obvious. Temptation, distractions, negativity, doubt, and the things constantly competing for our attention can pull us away from where we want our faith and lives to be.

Standing firm in your faith sometimes means being willing to stand apart from the crowd. Being open about what you believe may bring criticism, but fear of other people's reactions doesn't have to determine whether you talk about God.

Strength and love aren't opposites. Standing firm doesn't require abandoning compassion. The challenge is having conviction while remembering the biblical instruction to let what you do be done in love.

Don't confuse disagreement with hatred. The guys discuss the importance of separating individuals from the actions, ideas, leadership, or beliefs they disagree with rather than condemning an entire group of people.

Real loyalty is tested during difficult times. It's easy to stand beside someone when everything is going well. Loyalty becomes more meaningful when that person is struggling.

A loyal friend doesn't always tell you what you want to hear. Sometimes loyalty means telling someone they're wrong, challenging their decisions, and helping them get back on the right path.

Brotherhood is built through consistently showing up. The people who answer the phone, stand beside you, and continue supporting you through both victories and failures become relationships that can't easily be replaced.

Faith doesn't mean remaining passive. The guys discuss their belief that trusting God doesn't eliminate personal responsibility or the need to stand up for what you believe is right.

What we see publicly may only be part of the story. From current events to classified military technology, the episode repeatedly returns to questioning how much information the public actually has.

The unexplained is worth asking questions about. Area 51, UFOs, mysterious aircraft, classified programs, and advanced technology create plenty of room for curiosity—even when definitive answers aren't available.
